Healthcare Heroes
The phrase “not all superheroes wear capes” is one that has been said a lot during 2020, a year that has seen unprecedented pressure placed on healthcare professionals around the world. They may not wear capes, but Qatar’s healthcare heroes all wear masks – whether working in a frontline role, dealing directly with COVID-19 patients and those suspected of having caught the coronavirus, or working behind the scenes, informing the public about how to stay protected or making sure that effective health policies are in place. This exhibition, created on the occasion of the World Innovation Summit for Health 2020, unmasks a small selection of individuals who are each playing their part in the fight against COVID-19 in Qatar. Those featured are a cross-section of the workforce, represent more than XXX people employed across Qatar’s public health sector – at the Ministry of Public Health, Hamad Medical Corporation, and the Primary Health Care Corporation.
أبطال الرعاية الصحية
ذُكرت عبارة “ليس كل الأبطال الخارقين يرتدون أردية” كثيرًا خلال عام 2020، وهو العام الذي شهد ضغوطًا غير مسبوقة على المتخصصين في الرعاية الصحية، في جميع أنحاء العالم. قد لا يرتدون رداءً، لكن أبطال الرعاية الصحية في قطر يرتدون كمامات، سواء كانوا يعملون في الصفوف الأمامية، أو يتعاملون مباشرة مع مرضى كوفيد-19، وأولئك الذين يُشتبه في إصابتهم بالفيروس، أو يعملون خلف الكواليس، لتثقيف الجمهور بكيفية حماية أنفسهم، أو التأكد من وجود سياسات صحية فعّالة. يكشف هذا المعرض، الذي نُظّم بمناسبة مؤتمر القمة العالمي للابتكار في الرعاية الصحية “ويش 2020″، النقاب عن مجموعة صغيرة من الأفراد الذين يلعب كل منهم دوره في مكافحة جائحة كوفيد-19 في قطر. هؤلاء هم شريحة من القوى العاملة، تمثل أكثر من ×× شخصًا يعملون في قطاع الصحة العامة في قطر – في وزارة الصحة العامة، ومؤسسة حمد الطبية، ومؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية
